Flight
Charlottesville has its own airport (CHO) with limited flights. For a larger airport, Richmond (RIC) is a little over an hour away. Alternatively, Washington Dulles (IAD) and Washington National (DCA) are a two-hour drive.
Train
Downtown Charlottesville has an Amtrak station! The ride from Washington, DC takes approximately 2.5 hours. The train goes as far north as Vermont for those of you coming from the Northeast.
Travel Note
We're sharing our wedding weekend with UVA Parent's Weekend and a home football game, so we encourage you to book lodging as soon as possible given pricing premiums and high demand! The location of our wedding - Crozet, Virginia - is located at the foothills of the Blueridge Mountains. There are some lovely rental stays in the area, but there are no major hotels in Crozet. Some local stays include the Inn at Stinson Vineyard, Foxfield Inn, Chesley Creek Farm Cottages, Bailey's Retreat, and the Afton Mountain Inn. There are many more Airbnb/Vrbo and hotel options closer to Charlottesville, a 30-minute drive from the event venue. Some hotel suggestions include: the Hyatt Place Charlottesville, Holiday Inn Charlottesville-Monticello, Hilton Garden Inn Charlottesville, Courtyard Charlottesville - University Medical Center, the Boar's Head Resort, and the Doyle Hotel.
Shuttle
November 9, 2025 2:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Rideshare services will be available to take guests to the venue. However, those services DO NOT operate in the area at night. Therefore, we will be providing shuttles to transport guests between downtown Charlottesville and the wedding venue. There is plenty of parking at the event venue for those who wish to drive.
