As much as we love your little ones, we will not be including them in the ceremony or reception. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Gibson's Italia Rooftop has a retractable roof. If weather permitting, we will keep the roof open, otherwise, it will remain closed.

What if I have a dietary restriction?
Answer
Please let us know beforehand! We will be doing stations and will likely have something for everyone, but if we know ahead of time we can try to accommodate you.

What's the easiest way to get to and from the venue?

If you are driving: - there is valet parking available at the restaurant - there are also multiple parking garages nearby. We recommend - 165 North Clinton Garage - ParkChirp - https://maps.app.goo.gl/4kGGWfTo8LoZM2LX6 If you are staying downtown: - We recommend taking a taxi/uber or walking (particularly along the river walk) If you are staying in the suburbs and not driving: - The venue is right by Ogilvie station Other locations in the city if not driving: - Any L line headed downtown will get you close to the venue - Uber and taxis are available

Can I park over night?
Answer
If you are using the valet, you cannot leave the car overnight. The recommended parking garage (165 North Clinton Garage - ParkChirp) is 24/7, and your car can be left there.

What should I do if I don't make it into the room block?
Answer
If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway—they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout the reception.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?
Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1510 W Division St, APT 301 Chicago, IL 60642. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I'm in town for your wedding?
Answer
Check out the "Things to Do" section of our travel page to see some of our favorite spots to eat, drink, and explore in our city, if you want a specific restaurant or bar. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Tommy (see last question). He has a few hundred places saved on his Chicago Google Maps.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
Answer
Photos are allowed, but please note that we will have a photographer and plan on sharing the photos with everyone once they are available.
