Yes! The dress code is black tie preferred. While we encourage a tuxedo for men, a dark suit with a formal tie is also appropriate. Women are encouraged to wear a floor length dress or a formal midi dress.
November in Savannah feels like September in New York or Chicago. Average temperatures during the day are in the low 70s and the 50s at night. We recommend bringing a jacket or wrap for the evenings.
The ceremony will be inside an air conditioned church, and the reception will be in a tent outdoors. We expect it to be warm inside the tent but recommend bringing a wrap just in case!
Transportation will be provided to the church ceremony from Hotel Bardo and The DeSoto. Transportation will depart from the church immediately after the ceremony to the reception at the Deer Creek clubhouse. Transportation will also be provided from the reception back to Hotel Bardo and The DeSoto. The Perry Lane Hotel is a 3 minute walk from The DeSoto, making it easy to utilize the transportation.
Please click the "Things To Do" tab up at the top!
We do not recommend renting a car. Savannah is a small and very walkable city, and transportation will be provided to/from the reception. The hotels downtown are about a 25 minute Uber/Lyft ride from the airport. A rental car would be great, however, if you are planning to extend your trip to check out nearby areas such as Charleston, Bluffton, Kiawah Island, or Hilton Head!
If you were given a plus one it will be expressly written on your invitation.
Although we love your children, this is an adults-only weekend.
Please note any food allergies on your RSVP, and we will ensure that you get a meal that accommodates.
