Question

How should I dress?

Answer

The wedding attire is semi-formal. We welcome you to be comfortable! Desert winds are quite chilly this time of year. Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. There will be heaters and indoor access during our reception. Also keep in mind that dessert terrain is rocky...if you want to wear sneakers: we support you!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive to the Tower Homestead Guest Ranch between 2:30 and 2:45pm. We have two buses which will shuttle guests into the ceremony location in Joshua Tree National Park. The second bus will depart no later than 3:00pm. Immediately following the ceremony guests will be shuttled back to the Tower Homestead Guest Ranch where we are excited to celebrate with your presence, tacos, cake, and...lots of dancing!

Question

If I'm late, how do I get to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, we won't be able to accommodate late seating due to permit restrictions. If you are unable to make it to the ranch before the final bus departs you are still welcome to join us for the reception starting at 5:00pm!

Question

Where can I park my car?

Answer

You may leave your car parked at the Tower Homestead Guest Ranch. At the end of the night, you will need to drive back to your hotel. Please don't drink and drive! If you do plan on drinking, we recommend carpooling with a DD, or using Top's Taxi service, as Lyft and Uber are not easily accessible in the area. The phone number for Top's Taxi is 760-397-3981.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We sure do! Your presence is present enough, but if you're feeling particularly generous you can find our registry on this website.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a variety of recommendations listed on the Travel page of this website. Joshua Tree and Twentynine Palms have some pretty wonderful Airbnb options. If you're traveling with a group- renting a house for the weekend might be your best option.

Question

What are we going to eat?

Answer

Tacos! The greatest food ever created. We will be serving tacos and you may build your own to accommodate any dietary restrictions. There will be plenty of options for vegans, vegetarians, meat-eaters, and gluten-free buddies. We will also be serving cake, a champagne toast, and wine and beer.

Question

You're getting married in a park!! Where can I pee?

Answer

Don't worry, both the Tower Homestead Guest Ranch and the shuttle buses have restrooms which guests may use at any point.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

You better believe.
