Located 20 minutes from our house, The Stickett Inn has 4 guest rooms with king sized beds and a cottage with three beds. Suggest booking ASAP because it's a desirable weekend destination for people escaping the city. Bonus: it has a bar that serves Mexican food.

Blue Fox Motel

Located 30 minutes from our house, the Blue Fox Motel features a restaurant and pool and is located just down the road from great hiking and a quaint town called Narrowsburg. The property has 11 guest rooms with king sized beds, 4 guest suites with a queen beds and a pull-out couch, and a 1 bedroom cabin (queen bed and pull-out couch). There is also a 5 bedroom/3 bath house on the property. It is easiest to call and book over the phone (ask for Jessica). Also suggest booking ASAP.

JFK is a great option for guests arriving later in the day and want to relax and hit the road first thing in the AM. We recommend the TWA hotel if you want to grab a drink and take a dip in the pool after your flight.

LGA is convenient to getting out of the city. Make sure to get an EasyPass when renting a car.

EWR

Newark is the closest airport to our home in terms of mileage (and easier to avoid tolls). There is also an option to take the AirTrain to the Metro North railroad that will take you to Port Jervis.

Train

Metro North

Our home is located near the Port Jervis Metro North station. We recommend renting a car for easy access to the Delaware Water Gap area but the train is an option for those arriving later and potentially sharing a car with someone (we wouldn't rely on Ubers for the entire weekend). The train is accessible from Newark airport or NY Penn station, both via Secaucus station. It's about 2 hours and 30 minutes and a beautiful and comfortable ride.
