Wedding Party

We are proud to introduce all the people standing by us on our special day!

Stephanie Hillenbrand

Maid of Honor

Growing up Stephanie has always been the one I looked up to most! I would always want to be doing whatever Stephanie was doing. This started when we were younger with playing things like My Little Pony. I only wanted to be the blue pony, because she was the blue pony. Then our next phase that we were obsessed with was Parent Trap. We would always pretend we were the characters and of course we both wanted to be Hallie. We spent every day together growing up and now every time we visit each other it seems like time has continued where we left off last! I am so fortunate to have my best friend be my sister! She continues to amaze and inspire me and I know she will be a great Maid of Honor! She has positively impacted my life and I am very thankful for that. I am so happy to have you next to me on my wedding day!

Michael Rohrbach

Best Man

Tommy and Mike met at Baldwin Wallace during Summer Football Camp and their friendship took off. Freshman year, they weren't big partiers, so they spent every single day in the student union playing pool and drinking milkshakes (turns out playing pool every day was great for when they did start going to bars). Freshman year is where the friendship became very strong, which prompted them to become roommates for the next four years. Their friendship has grown exponentially over the years and Tommy was actually a best man in Mike's wedding last year! Odds are if you see one of them doing something dumb, you will see the other one doing something dumber!

Lydia Dunn

Bridesmaid

Lydia and I met when I moved back to Columbus to teach. I remember looking from afar admiring her shoes during the summer retreat day. Towards the end of the day, I was walking with my group for a scavenger hunt and we were heading back towards the school; Lydia introduced herself to me mentioning she knew it could be tough being the new teacher and to reach out if I had questions. At that moment, I knew she would be a great friend! Now, I am shy making new friends, but we eventually hung out outside of school had pool days (even when it decided to rain last second). I love hanging out with Lydia. She always makes sure I am heard and has continued to be a true friend to me. I truly could not have asked for such an amazing friendship! I am so happy to have you next to me on our big wedding day!

Joe Simonis

Groomsman

Joe and Tommy are best friends for life. They met freshman year of college on the football team while Joe was kicking footballs and Tommy was riding the bench. Their friendship started to grow Sophomore year when they lived in the same dorm and they ended up becoming workout partners at football lifting. Joe was very instrumental in getting Tommy awake at 5:30am so he wouldn't miss workouts, which kept him out of trouble. The friendship has grown so much as plenty of beers have been drank and plenty of tears have been shed together on Sundays during football season (Damn Browns). Tommy was actually a groomsman in his wedding! (Who would want to marry that guy?)

Taylor Ross

Bridesmaid

Where do we start with our amazing friendship haha It all started with my first soccer practice where I went crying to my mom about a really mean girl on the team haha! Little did I know she toughened me up and we would forever be best friends! We initially bonded over playing Mario on our Nintendo when our dads made us sit in a car together to travel to a soccer tournament. We grew up together and I have always admired Taylor's strong wit and outgoing personality. No matter the distance, we continue to always be there for each other. I am so thankful to have Taylor in my life and am excited for her to be a part of our big day!

John Allen

Groomsman

John and Tommy met at Baldwin Wallace and both played football! Oddly enough, they didn't become friends through Football, but rather through basketball at the rec in the offseason. We played together almost every day and eventually it blossomed into a friendship outside of sports. They often got into shenanigans on weekends and he became really good friends with Tommy. John actually played an integral part into how Kristen and Tommy started dating, and for that, Tommy is incredibly grateful.

Malorie Maddix

Bridesmaid

Our friendship started when we met through playing flag football, which Tommy had me try and Tyson had Malorie try. Through this we started to all hangout together by going bowling and to old towny bars. We have had many great memories and we are so fortunate to have made such great friends. Malorie and I became very close she has been there for me since the day we met! She has always been a great listener and always knows how to have a great time! We now live within walking distance and are excited to have many fun cookouts. I am so excited to have such a great friend to be a part of our big day!

Tyson Maddix

Groomsman

Tyson was Tommy's first Columbus friend when him and Kristen made the move from Cleveland. They met through a flag football league and his girlfriend (now wife), are a great couple for Kristen and Tommy to hang out with. Throughout the years, Tommy and Tyson have bonded over Cleveland sports, flag football, and cold, crisp Coors Light on weekends. Tommy was actually a groomsman in Tyson's wedding too! They are such good friends now that they decided to both buy houses that are within walking distance from each other!

Madison Sikyta

Bridesmaid

Maddie and I grew up together playing ptyl- rec league soccer. Every halloween we would always have a race to see who could get the most candy with our pillow case bags. When you came to New Albany in High School I was so happy and we continued to have many adventures together. I still have notes that we had from our lockers! When college started, we still made time to see each other! We have made so many fun memories and will continue to make more! She has impacted me through each stage in life and I am thankful to have her stand by my side on our wedding day!

Cade Mickley

Groomsman

Cade and Tommy both met freshman year of college on the Football team. Cade was injured going into the season, so the first time Tommy saw Cade, he was standing on the sideline. Tommy thought that Cade was a high schooler that was a ball boy or something (If you knew Cade, he looked like a child our freshman year). Cade is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, which is how they became friends. They always knew each other throughout college, but the friendship catapulted when he invited Tommy on a Spring Break trip. Fun Fact: Cade knows a decent amount of Kristen's family who lives in Danville, so he was already friends with her too. It only seemed right for him to be a part of our big day!

Brittany Waggoner

Bridesmaid

I am not sure I would have made it through college math classes without Brittany! The first day of a freshman education class she sat next to me. After that, we continued to sit next to each other in each class we had together even if it was assigned alphabetically! Graduation was great because there aren't many people who get to sit next to their best friend! I have many favorite memories, but one of my favorites was at Cedar Point when it took us forever to finish one beer and then we had to drive the buggy cars and you told me I'd have to drive haha! That continues to make me laugh! I am also happy you had insight about Tommy before I formally met him; it's funny how the world works at a small college! I am so happy to have Brittany by my side on our wedding day, you mean so much to both of us!

Carson Chittock

Groomsman

Tommy and Carson met at Madison Elementary School, but their friendship became strong during Middle School Football. Carson was the center and Tommy played quarterback, so it was only natural for them to become really good friends. They spent a lot of hours playing outside and playing video games during their teen years, which included a lot of basketball, football, manhunt, call of duty, NBA 2k, and the list goes on and on. The countless amount of Cedar Point trips were also a blast! Carson and Tommy played High School football together as well, which included a lot of bike rides to two-a-days where they always talked about random things in life. Carson and his family were almost like a second family to Tommy growing up and for that, Tommy is very thankful!

Tommy Thompson

Officiant

Tommy T is one of the most charismatic, caring people you will ever meet. He is full of energy and his words are definitely heard when he is speaking. He is Tommy's longest friend, literally knowing him from the first week he was born and they have been friends ever since. There are plenty of home videos of the two Tommy's wrestling or playing games together and that is exactly what their childhood was. The two were brothers from other mothers during their adolescent years. When Tommy T was a teen, him and his mom moved to Florida before ultimately moving back to Ohio, but 3 hours south of Cleveland. They kind of lost touch during those teen years, but re-connected while they were in College and it was like nothing changed.
