The Port Restaurant

Our go-to spot to bring friends and family for happy hour and oysters! Great place for drinks, apps, dinner and our favorite $1 Oysters (check site or call for exact time of day). Centrally located in downtown Harwich Port.

Perks Coffee & Beer Garden

545 Massachusetts 28, Harwich Port, MA 02646

Casual outdoor-only-seating café and bar. Small assortment of pastries, breakfast sandwiches and coffee in the morning. In the afternoon, it changes over to a bar with light bites. Most summer nights they will have live music!

Cape Sea Grille Restaurant

31 Sea Street, Harwich Port, MA 02646

Lovely restaurant in downtown Harwich Port that is perfect for a sit-down dinner. Walkable to other shops, bars and restaurants. Recommend calling for a reservation.

Brax Landing Restaurant

Casual sit-down restaurant on the harbor, including outdoor seating on their deck and patio. Traditional seafood fare located next to Saquatucket Harbor - where a ferry to Nantucket takes off!

Cape Roots Market

Market, cafe and sandwich shop right in downtown Harwich Port. Great place to get specialty coffee in the morning or craft sandwiches in the afternoon. They also offer a small assortment of groceries for last minute needs.

Sundae School Ice Cream

A trip down the Cape wouldn't be complete without some ice cream! Get some of the best homemade ice cream out there, right in Harwich Port.

George's Pizza House

Good ol'fashion pizza place if you're looking for a night to order in traditional pizzas, subs, calzones, etc.!

Ruggie's Breakfast and Lunch

Traditional breakfast and lunch diner. It is very small inside – so go early or expect a long wait. It is in the historic downtown Harwich, which is about a 3-5 min drive north of Harwich Port.

Beaches

The Cape is full of some amazing beaches! If bringing a car, most public beaches will require you to pay for a beach pass. - Red River Beach (Harwich): great for families/big groups - Bank Street Beach (Harwich Port): smaller, but walking distances from Harwich Port. Cannot park unless a resident - Chatham Lighthouse (Chatham): no parking, but a very scenic beach in Chatham - Pleasant Road Beach (West Harwich) - West Dennis Beach (West Dennis): massive beach, snack shack, bathrooms. Pay to park.

To See & Do

General things to do in and around Harwich. - Shopping: downtown Harwich Port & Chatham - Cape Cod rail trail (bike path): path that runs Dennis to Wellfleet, great for walking, running or bike rides - Golf and mini golf! A ton of locations around the Cape - Chatham Lighthouse EXTENDED STAY? - Truro Vineyards (Truro) - Provincetown - Nantucket: Freedom Ferry out of Saquatucket Harbor (Harwich Port)

Outer Bars & Grilles

Grab a drink or bite at one of the nice hotels in the area! All of which have some kind of outside bar & grille, open to the public. - Chatham Bars Inn (Chatham) - Wequassett Resort (Harwich) - Ocean House (West Dennis) - Pelham House Hotel (West Dennis)
