Original Date: 5/29/20 (postponed) - but we got legally married! 💍 Second Date: 8/27/20 (postponed) Third Date: 5/13/21 (postponed) The Finale: 8/26/21 Well this IS IT kids! The Boathouse is back open for business! But we want everyone who wants a vaccine the ability to be able to get vaccinated and be able to establish immunity before our event. Therefore, we felt pushing out our wedding celebration a few more months would be worth the wait! And let us just stress, if you are able to get a vaccine, YOU SHOULD. As by Silk tradition, we met on Siena campus in Upstate New York, where neither of us attended college, but both of our brothers did. We were both there to celebrate Nick and Michael's Senior Year Family weekend. We easily connected over our mutual love of the New York Yankees and dessert. We talked the whole night and went out on our first date in NYC a few weeks later. The rest is history!

The week after Christmas 2018, Tommy's Mom (Claudia) and Sister (Annie) came down for the night to go to a new exhibit at The Met. During the night we found ourselves at Jillian's favorite Monet painting and Tommy got down on one knee and proposed. Tommy went the extra mile and surprised Jillian with their whole family (pups included) outside the museum and dinner and drinks with the whole crew. It was a night we will never forget!
