Tommy and I want to share a little of our Love Story with you! We know you have busy lives as do we- but know that we have wanted to connect with you all. It is certainly true that our moments together with friends and family are always too brief. If we could sit with each of you and share from our hearts it would be amazing! But, here on our wedding website we have the opportunity to catch you all up to speed a bit! So... drumroll please.... here written is a bit about our beginning and a window into our future! We met online and, after just a few weeks and a lot of long phone conversations between Upland and Orange, we both knew we had found something very special. Well, I knew I had been blessed to find the most amazing man! Not only was he handsome and intelligent, but he also had such a big heart and deep devotion to his family — something that truly stood out. From our very first date, the conversation flowed effortlessly. We quickly discovered that we shared a similar vision for life and faith and that being together just felt natural. Within a few dates, he was learning to dance, and I was listening to a lot more 70’s rock and oldies! We began sending songs to each other, realizing that music expressed our feelings in ways words sometimes couldn’t. From rock to reggae, EDM to vintage swing, Madonna to Metallica — every melody became part of our story. Some of our earliest dates were filled with fun and adventure — a sunny picnic in Claremont, nights of live music, and even festivals. We traveled together to San Diego and nearly missed our train back because we were so caught up in conversation and laughter. More than once, we lost track of time — nearly missing flights, check-outs, or curtain calls — because we were simply lost in each other’s company. Early on, Tommy smiled and said we were “coming in hot,” and the phrase stuck. It perfectly captured the beautiful intensity of what we were building together. One of our favorite patterns soon emerged: we were always the last couple to leave a restaurant or venue, too wrapped up in our talks and laughter to notice the time. One unforgettable night in Pasadena, we stayed out until nearly 4 a.m., just walking and talking under the stars. Neither of us had ever experienced anything like this — the way we could see love reflected in each other’s eyes and hearts. It’s a love that feels dialed all the way up… and somehow, the dial keeps going. Together we’ve found so much joy, peace, and laughter. We often joke about who’s luckier, but the truth is, we both are. We know now more about Love, not just the butterflies, but giving and learning and growing together laying a resilient foundation upon which to build the rest of our lives. And now, as we begin this next chapter, we carry with us all the laughter, music, and midnight walks that brought us here. What started with a spark across a phone line has become the most beautiful journey of our lives. We look forward to every moment ahead — the adventures, the quiet mornings, and the shared dreams — knowing that love will always be the song that guides us home to one another.
