Who doesn't love a good locally-owned brewery? Located kitty-corner to Saunacuse.
Tipperary Hill
This is an Irish Neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance of one another. On Tompkins Street, you can catch a glimpse of the only upside-down traffic light in the USA!
Museum of Science & Technology
This is great for the kiddos! Also, check syracuse.com for any festivals or happenings downtown!
Destiny USA
If you need to shop or pick something up last minute, you should be able to find it at Destiny! Also, lots of things to do for kids if it's raining! This is also very close to downtown and there is an Embassy Suites attached to it as another rec for place to stay!
Skaneateles Lake
A great little lakeside town with some great eats and shopping. About 25 minutes from Downtown Syracuse. We love grabbing a roast beef sandwich and wings with a Guinness at The Lakehouse Pub.

All out-of-towners love a trip to WEGMANS! This is the closest one to our house, but feel free to google some of the other locations as well!
Turning Stone Resort Casino
Great place to stay or play. The spa here is fantastic if you are looking to treat yourself a bit. It's about 30 minutes from Syracuse.
