Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will have a semi-formal cocktail dress code. Footwear Advisory: Our celebration will take place largely on grass and gravel. We kindly advise against wearing stiletto heels or dress shoes that can easily get damp. We recommend opting for flats, low-heeled wedges, block heels, or boots to ensure your comfort on uneven surfaces.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

We are serving BBQ buffet style. The caterer will have vegetarian and gluten-free options.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4pm to allot enough time to park and find a seat. Our ceremony will take place on the property along with the reception.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Guests can park on the street directly across from our home, Rolling Hills Road, which is a cul-de-sac. You are welcome to park on either side of the road.

What should I know about the area?

Answer

East Haddam is a rural community with limited cell service. Please look at directions to the home before hand as it is likely you will not have access to LTE or phone service. Clark Hill Road is a narrow winding road that can be dark at night. We encourage you to carpool to the event if possible and discuss transportation options before hand. Can I bring a date?

Answer

Single guests are welcome to bring a plus-one, when you RSVP on this website you will have the opportunity to let us know if you intend to bring a guest. We kindly ask that all extra guests are registered in our website by August 5th.
