Contact your ebutler here: ebutler.yucatan@trshotels.com Please include the following: • First and last name(s) on the reservation • Tour operator/Palladium Hotel group booking number • Arrival and departure dates • Section and room type you have booked (ie: TRS, Jr Suite) • If you are returning guest, number of visits • Your request(s)
Definitely bring sunscreen. A small pool float is always a bonus. For the room, I recommend an air freshener for the toilet area and a multi plug. The outlets are usually single outlets, so this allows a little flexibility if wanting to plug in 2 items
Yes, the wifi is free. You have to be assigned a room to use it. It covers almost the entire resort. Every few days you may have to log back in, depending on your length of stay
No, so if you are on the 3rd floor be mindful you will have to go up 2 flights of stairs
Yes, and programmable to your own code. Instructions are listed in the safe
The wristbands are required at all times. They are different colors for different areas of the resort. TRS is typically grey. They are also your room key (there is a chip in the band). Just hold the band next to the key pad and it will unlock your door. I recommend wearing your wristband on your non-dominant hand. If you lose your wristband just go to the TRS lobby and they will replace it. It happens… But know that if it gets replaced, your roomie(s) will also need to get their chip changed to match yours.
Golf carts are available to take you anywhere you would like. Ask your butler and he will call one for you.
US dollars and Mexican pesos are both acceptable. We tend to either bring pesos with us (ask your bank) or exchange US dollars for pesos at the front desk when we arrive. Depending on the exchange rate, which changes daily, you can guestimate that $1 US dollar is roughly 20 Mexican pesos.
While tipping is not required, we typically tip in pesos. While the service is great already, tipping just ensures that little extra. Remember, these are hardworking folks that don’t make the money we make back in the states, so if your bartender, server, bellhop, butler, maid are doing a great job… give them a tip. This is what we usually tip, however, it is all about your budget and if you even want to tip: • Bartender/Drink Server: $1 (20 pesos) if grab and go… if sitting for a bit then we tip $5 – $10 (100 – 200 pesos) depending on how long we have been there • Restaurant Server: $5 – $10 (100 – 200 pesos) • Bell-hop/golf-cart driver: $1 (20 pesos) each way • Butler: $5 (100 peso) per day or tip at the end of your stay • Maid: $5 (100 pesos) per day or tip at the end of your stay
Typically women can wear whatever. For gentlemen, shirts or T-shirts with sleeves (short or long) and long pants or Bermuda shorts are required in all "a la carte" restaurants.
For a list of restaurants, please visit: https://www.palladiumhotelgroup.com/en/hotels/mexico/rivieramaya/trs-yucatan-hotel/gastronomy You also have access to ALL the other A la carte restaurants at White Sands, Colonial and Kantenah
Its dinner and a show. There is a dress code, men MUST wear pants and a closed toe shoe. They will not let you in and are pretty strict about this. For more information visit: https://www.palladiumhotelgroup.com/en/chic-cabaret-restaurant/

If on Facebook, I recommend becoming a member of “Fans/Addict TRS Yucatan by Palladium” group. They have so much more information. You can search for “Monday’s schedule” or “pool schedule” or whatever you are interested in finding more about. They have updated lists, menus and schedules for everything. If not on Facebook, I can give you access to my google drive folder, where I have a bunch of information. Just let me know.
The answer is Yes BUT. It’s only allowed at TRS pools (Infinity and Terraza) as well as on the beach.
Technically no, since all beaches are public. However, you can go to the private area close to the beach (still in the sand and a few feet from the ocean). They have Bali Beds, Hammocks and Lounge Chairs free of charge for TRS guests only. There is also a bar/snack shop.
Yes… TRS has a jewelry store. Convenience store and apparel stores are located at White Sands and Kantenah. Prices are pretty high, since they have a collective audience for things like Advil, Pepto, sunscreen, etc. So I recommend bringing these items from home.
Yes, TRS has one as well as Colonial. I believe TRS provides you US Dollars, where Colonial provides you pesos. There is a fee for withdrawing money, so keep that in mind. However, all credit cards are accepted.
Yes. You get 2 bottles upon arrival. Usually, Vodka, Whisky, Rum and Tequila (you can always ask for something different when you arrive (see the wish list file I have posted). When you are done with your bottle, keep it in the room, if not you may get charged for it. When emptied, they can replace it. Just ask your butler
Yes, the hair dryer is amazing. I keep trying to find what brand it is because I really want to buy one. They also provide shampoo, conditioner and body soaps (in miniature). If you run out, just ask your butler for more.
The showers have rainfall shower heads and have great pressure. Bath towels, bathrobes and house slippers are also provided. The robes are for use there. If you wish to buy one you can do so at the Spa. I think you can take the house slippers with you, free of charge, if you wanted.
Yes, but not special treatments such as massages. The best rates to pay for treatments are thru the sales folks that walk around the pool areas. You can barter with them on prices, versus paying full price at the Spa. You do have access to the following, free of charge: • Shower • Finnish Sauna • Contrast Shower • Turkish bath • Cold Immersion Tub • Warm Hydromasage • Swan neck tub • Small Infinity pool
Towel huts are located by each pool and at the snack bars on the beach. They are free of charge, just return them when done. Or you can take them to your room if needed and the maid will take care of them. No need to bring your bath towel with you to use as a beach towel.
