The two met on a dating app, Bumble, passing time on a weekend night. But little did Tommy know, it wasn't even Amanda that swiped right on Tommy. During a girls wine night her friends took hold of Amanda's destiny and started swiping on her "type". Julie, who also began the conversation, technically "forced" Amanda into conversing with Tommy. After fully vetting one another over text, they agreed to meet for pizza and beers at Avenue Bar and Grill on a Tuesday night. However, the Sunday before the two of them were texting and admitted they were both having a boring day and agreed to meeting up sooner than planned that night. On a cold and windy Sunday, Tony C's in Somerville became the first stop of their story... After a handful of exciting and pleasant dates Amanda finally asked Tommy to spend the night and from that point he was not allowed to leave. Shackled in the basement, Tommy managed to keep his spirits up knowing the the woman upstairs was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Just kidding, he was never held captive. Tommy and Amanda spent the months after meeting, filled with dates, golf, weekend getaways, and spending time with their third wheel Godiva. After agreeing the fun should continue, they moved in together and have started building their lives together. The next milestone is on 9/9/23 and Amanda & Tommy are so excited to have all of their close family and friends be a part of their day.
