Well, it actually started when we each swiped right. Then came the text messages. Then, we began discussing our respective Thanksgiving dinner plans. Melissa was particularly excited that we each were having a Greenberg turkey as part of our family meal! She didn't know Yankees had ever heard of the East Texas smoked turkey perfection. Tom and Melissa met just after Thanksgiving at the Belgian Café, followed by jazz music. Three weeks later, Tom invited Melissa on his family trip to St. John, with encouragement from his mom, Susan. Melissa, in classic form, consulted with her closest 25 friends and family members. All interested parties decided it was a good idea, so Melissa and Tom's fifth date was born. Traveling, playing with the dogs, delicious dinners (both at home and on the town), runs in Fairmount park, long walks all over, making $20 bets, playing endless games of Scrabble and Splendor, product research, debating best interior design styles, long discussions about pickles, intermediately long discussions about Mi Casita, dinner parties, Chinatown adventures, visits to Longwood Gardens, discovering new and new to us television, and making memories with dear friends and our loving families are just the start of our beautiful life.
