Q + A

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by September 15th so we can prepare accordingly.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! Please let us know and we'll be sure to inform the caterer.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate children at our ceremony or reception. Please use this as a parent's night out without the kiddos!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM. Please allow time to park and find a seat!

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of on site parking available for our guests at Smith Farm Gardens!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

While our wedding is by no means a Black Tie Affair, we would love for our guests to get dressed up to celebrate with us! We are asking for guests to adhere to a Semi-Formal dress code (men, think suit and tie).

Question

Where can we stay?

Answer

We're currently finalizing a hotel block for out-of-town guests. However, due to the venue's location, franchised chains aren't readily available within a 30-minute radius. To ensure a comfortable stay, we recommend exploring charming Bed & Breakfasts or Airbnb's in nearby towns like Chester, Essex, or Old Saybrook. These towns are close to the venue, offer a charming local experience and have cute Main Streets perfect for exploring during your stay. The Griswold Inn, Copper Beech Inn, and Saybrook Point Inn would be our first suggestions.
