Our story started on an ordinary Tuesday night in Columbus. Kara had just graduated from Ohio State and had joined the full time corporate world, while Connor was starting his final year on campus. Begrudgingly, Kara agreed to go out for drinks with friends on a weeknight, and their first stop just happened to be Connor's fraternity annex. Affectionately known as Birdhouse, he and his friends had just returned from a concert at the state fair, and the group soon migrated to The O (RIP) for a summer night on the patio. The conversation and connection for Kara and Connor seemed effortless, and from that night on they’ve been inseparable. What started as a random Tuesday night out quickly turned into the best decision Kara almost didn’t make.

Years after that fateful night in Columbus, Connor brought our story full circle — back to where it all began. On Ohio State’s campus outside of Ohio Stadium, surrounded by memories of how it all started as well as our family and friends, he got down on one knee and asked Kara to marry him. It was the perfect nod to our beginning and the start of our next chapter. Now, after over 10 years together that have been spent growing into our adult lives, adopting cats, navigating long distance, bingeing endless reality TV, and watching our respective sports teams win (mostly Kara) and lose (mostly Connor), we are so excited to be saying "I do" and celebrating our love with you all!
