Tom and Rose are getting married!

We met during our Sophomore year of high school at Tottenville. We were both in the marching band and became friends. On a trip to Disney World with the band, we became closer. We went on our first date to the movie theater, and began dating on March 7, 2012.

From high school until completing our Master's degrees, we worked at McDonald's together. Even though some say you should never work with your significant other, working together strengthened our relationship.

After graduating high school in 2014, we went to separate colleges. Thomas went to Stony Brook University and Rose went to the College of Staten Island. For four years, we endured the challenges of a long distance relationship. Some of our favorite memories were when Rose would visit Tom at Stony Brook and summers that we spent together.

In August 2020, we both completed our Master's degrees and started our careers. Tom began his first job as a Math Teacher and Rose began her first job as a Speech-Language Pathologist. In January 2021, we got our first apartment together.

On April 4, 2021, Tom proposed to Rose at a surprise Easter brunch with some family members. Of course she said YES!
