What in the heck is a virtual wedding?
Answer
Due to the pandemic, we didn't want to gather or travel. So, we will be having our wedding entirely online on Zoom. Andrew and I will be together on one computer at our kitchen table and our officiant will be at her house Zooming in to the call just like you. Although unconventional, we're hoping that this will be a sweet moment during what has been an unbelievably strange 2020. (And for those of you who might be worried about the legality of this, don't worry, we have our marriage license from the county clerk and will be signing that in-person with our officiant the morning of the ceremony.)

Answer
The ceremony will be about an hour long.

What's the dress code?
Answer
You can dress up! You can wear Warriors colors in honor of Andrew's favorite basketball team! You can wear comfy pajamas! You can wear your apron because you may be in the middle of prepping for Thanksgiving dinner! You can wear whatever you want-- we are simply thrilled that you're attending our crazy covid online wedding.

Is there a program for the ceremony?

Yes! Here is the link to the program: https://tinyurl.com/tomforde Additionally, I will include the link in the email reminder you will get the day of the wedding with the Zoom call link. The link to the program will also be provided in the chat of the Zoom once we start the ceremony.
Question
Do I need to do anything to be able to use Zoom?
Answer
It will be a more seamless experience for you if you download Zoom in advance on your computer/tablet (it is free). If you've never used Zoom before and have questions you can watch this video-- copy and paste this link into your browser: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFhAEoCF7jg . When the call launches, you need to click "join with computer audio" or you will not be able to hear anything.
