20 Oct 2024 After spending days texting and talking on the phone, we agreed to have our 1st date @ Dave & Buster's. I arrived 1st so I could watch him arrive...so I could watch him seek me out. And I did. He was so tall and so handsome. I watched him look around for me. He took out his phone to call me. When he turned his back, I started walking towards him. My phone started ringing in my hand and he asked if I was there....I said...he should turn around....he did...and he looked back...and DOWN...and down **insert eye roll. His literal 1st words were...WOW...instantly my heart warmed....and something inside me shuttered. He asked if he could hug me. I said Yes. He engulfed me. And he smelled so good. He grabbed my hand and he started walking toward the tables. He wanted to watch a bit of the game not knowing I was into sports, as well, so I said "Let's Do It". We watched his team (49ers) play; they were playing against the Chiefs (28/18). His team lost. We played games...air hockey, basketball (he cheated) ...mostly we just walked around and talked. He asked if he could hold my hand. He never seemed to not be holding my hand. When we went to sit at the table, he told our hostess we were Newlyweds. I was like OMG. She said "OH that's so sweet. So are me and my husband". I said, "Well, it's not like we eloped to Vegas"...which was an inside joke as Ken had been teasing about us doing just that over the weekend. She said, "Actually We DID"...Ken and I just stared at each other...lololo. Before the date ended, he asked me if I would be willing to explore "THIS" with him. Just him and I...to see what God was doing...and we've been doing that ever since then. And somehow, along the way...God revealed His plan...and it's Forever!
