Our story began after mutual friends insisted for months that we should meet. Naturally, I did the proactive thing of waiting for Chelsea to add me on Instagram, and then waiting for Chelsea to direct message me on Instagram. That was when, on a warm fall day from the parking lot of Hard Rock Stadium before a Hurricanes game, I suddenly received a message: “Come to Brickell after!” Later that night, after a Canes win, and a pizza at DC Pie, I finally worked my way over to Better Days to meet the infamous Chelsea Tombley. Right off the bat, everything clicked. Conversation was easy, we laughed, we danced and it seemed like there was nobody else in the entire bar. A few months later, when the entire world shut down, we decided there was no better way to be in lockdown than to spend every single day together. From pandemic workouts, sunrises on the beach, to that first sip of coffee in the morning and that last bite of chocolate at night before bed, Chelsea became my life. The pandemic was easy and fun because of her. Since then, our life has been nothing short of crazy and fun. We’ve had weddings all around the world, traveling to Israel, Jordan and Egypt, beach days, basketball games ALWAYS on the television, nights out and nights in, and everything in between. I could not be more excited to marry Chelsea with our family and friends present, on September 30th. We are so ready to celebrate and hope that everyone has an absolute blast all weekend!
