You'll be flying into the São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) The cheaper direct flights are typically from New York, Miami, and Boston. We recommend a red eye from there. It's an 8.5-10 hour flight, sleep on the plane, and wake up refreshed in paradise! Pack warm clothes for the flight, the flight can be chilly and you don't want to ask your neighbor to turn off their AC!

The wedding lands on the last week of Fall in Brazil. Lucky for us, on the island, Ilhabela, the Daily high temperatures are around 78°F, rarely falling below 70°F or exceeding 86°F. In Brazil, the currency is Reais (said like "hey-ice") It's not absolutely necessary, but we recommend you carry some cash.
