We LOVE Pressed! This is where we met on our first date, and it has been a staple for us ever since. Our favorite drink is the Apple Pie (iced or hot). Brittany's go-to is The Bridge panini while Pete prefers the Chipotle Steak Grilled Cheese or the Buffalo Chicken Breakfast Burrito. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and you can't go wrong with just about anything on their menu! You can eat in, takeout, or drive thru!
Tuscan Market was stop #2 on our first date, where we had dessert and closed down the place with all of the workers staring at us... clearly we didn't want the date to end! Whether you're picking up food to go from their amazing selection, eating in at their restaurant, or taking a cooking class in their gorgeous kitchen, Tuscan Market doesn't disappoint. It's the perfect stop for gelato, cannolis, and countless other desserts. Or, if the weather is nice, find yourself a seat outside at one of the fire pits or picnic tables. You can order pizza and drinks outdoors which we have enjoyed many times, and it is very kid-friendly. Their outdoor space is home to live music, craft vendors, and more depending on the day... and Brittany may have beaten Pete in cornhole a time or two.
Yes, it is the same as every other Chick-fil-A. BUT, it brings back happy memories for us, as it is what we ate for dinner the night Pete asked Brittany to be his girlfriend. We had just returned to Pete's apartment after Mass and Pete was still in uniform in the midst of a busy drill weekend when he unexpectedly asked the question she had been waiting for... and she answered with a wholehearted "yes!" Plus, you can't go wrong with Chick-fil-A :)
The Backroom has been and forever will be a special place. Whether in the restaurant, in one of the function rooms, or with takeout, it seems that nearly every special occasion on Brittany's mom's side of the family (including Britt & Pete's engagement!) has been celebrated with The Backroom. Brittany's Mimi and Bumpa always had Backroom French Vanilla ice cream in the freezer. The Backroom is famous for their chicken tenders, which absolutely must be dipped in their duck sauce for the full experience. It's the only meal Brittany orders every time she is there, with a Greek salad of course. If Brittany's Uncle Gary were still with us, he would insist you try a mudslide. It can get very busy on weekends, but is always worth the wait!
110 Grill is one of our favorite places! The Nashua location was host to many a date night early in our relationship. We always order the Chorizo Totchos for an appetizer. They are the most allergy-friendly restaurant you could imagine and they also have great cocktails!
Pete introduced Brittany to Five Guys for the first time! He couldn't believe she had never eaten there when they started dating. A small order of fries is always more than enough and their burgers and milkshakes are delicious. One night Pete even managed to surprise Brittany by ordering Five Guys to be delivered by DoorDash while he was deployed overseas!
Tuscan Village has turned an old abandoned racetrack into THE place to be in Southern NH. Home to many shops and restaurants, there is something for everyone! The Pressed Cafe, Tuscan Market, and Chick-fil-A listed on this page are all in Tuscan Village. We've eaten, shopped, and even run road races through Tuscan Village in our time together! There are constantly new places opening up, one of our new favorites as of May 2024 is Playa Bowls!
We would be remiss without recommending our reception venue! We have enjoyed wine tastings and appetizers at the bar as well as delicious meals at their restaurant, The Bistro. Be sure to stop in the store for some LaBelle wine as well as goodies such as jam, spices, seasonings, and more!
LaBelle opened up this second location in Brittany's hometown in 2021. We have enjoyed their mini golf course and beautiful wine tasting barn. The Derry location is also home to LaBelle Market, Americus Restaurant, and a nine-hole golf course.
