Dress to impress. For real. We love an excuse to get dressed up, always wanted this to be one of them. That means, put those floor length dresses that are taking up closet space to use and dust that suit off! Black tie & formalwear required, please!
In Greek Orthodox tradition the Koumarbi are the spiritual sponsors of the marriage. Their role is to be a faithful guide and supporter for the couple. They also play an important role during the ceremony, assisting with the Exchanging of the Rings as well as The Crowning. In our case, we are honored to have Tomas’ Uncle, Ilir, be our Koumbaro.
Food. And lots of it. No, seriously - if there's one thing you should know about us, it's that we're foodies. Therefore it should be no surprise that we wanted this to be a main feature of our celebration. Dinner will be a carefully curated 7-course meal that Chef Greg Alexiev + his team will prepare. Fare will span across land, sea & vegetation - and incorporate a few nods towards traditional Albanian cuisine. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please tell us - but otherwise, we ask that you come hungry; with an open mind + belly to try an assortment of things!
Great question! It will span across a good duration of the evening, as it's supposed to. But we promise that we will be keeping things interesting. And of course, between courses we encourage you to get up, mingle, and spark up conversation amongst each other!
Parking can be found around Downtown Plymouth in any open street spot, or in the Central Parking Deck located just behind Main Street (access from S. Harvey St). Should you wish to Uber home (very doable!), your car will be able to stay overnight without issue. Alternatively, if you wish to not worry about a car at all over the course of the evening, please feel free to Uber to the Church, and we can surely organize transportation between the Church + Venue (8-min drive) to get you to the reception!
