Steph & Tom met at a weekend camping country music festival. Tom ended up being her neighbor. When they met for the first time nothing happened. He was just the crazy Country Thunder neighbor. Tom is the life of the party so he was a little loud for Steph. Each year she was excited for this weekend but not so excited to be outdoors. Country Thunder 2018 - this weekend was different. Tom was a little more quiet this trip as he just went camping the weekend before. He ended up staying on her campsite more because he was too tired to "roam around" and Steph "doesnt do roaming". Jordan, Steph's best friend, was staying on the campsite as well. After an insanly fun weekend and Tom spending more time with Steph he asked for for number. With the help of Jordan, telling Steph to GO FOR IT, they would begin their love story.

Their first date was at Cantigny Park. Tom does alot of volunteer work so it was natural to have their first date volunteering for the Pet Expo. The park was beautiful. The flowers were in full bloom and seeing a different side to Tom was intriguing to Steph. They ended up exploring the city where they talked about food, life goals and what life looks like outside of just being Country Thunder neighbors. The date was perfect.

When the time was right to finally propose to Steph, there was only one perfect place to ask her to marry him. Cantigy Park - where it all started! Tom picked out the perfect custom ring from a local jeweler in Waco, TX. He planned a perfect day. The Plan? Go to Cantigny to take wedding website photos FOR SOMEONE ELSE. Step questioned Jordan about the odd similarities to this outing. The fact that it was the place of their first date and Steph would LOVE to be proposed to there. Jordan quickly "apolozied" and understood why it would make her upset but that her time would be coming soon... The day arrived. The sun was shining and the weather was perfect. Steph being a good sport showed up ready to support her friends as she does. But this time, the surprise was for HER! They found the perfect spot where Tom got down on one knee and asked Steph to marry him! She was completely shocked and we had to tell her there was no website photos for a friend because the website photos were for HER. The day was complete with a pizza party with her family!

Tom and Steph live in the city of Chicago. They have two cats, Murphy and Penny. They enjoy exploring the city and eating at good restaurants. They also enjoy leaving the city for a camping trip or even a good themed party. Tom enjoys golfing, while Steph remains in indoor kid and enjoys reading.
