We first started talking on OK Cupid, which soon led to an in-person meeting at Burger 21 in Ashburn, right next to Tom's office at the time and around the corner from Ryann's home. After enjoying good conversation over burgers, fries, and milkshakes (the recommended blueberry lavender shake was a big hit!), the next date was quickly scheduled and the rest is history.

Tom surprised Ryann during their vacation to the Poconos. She turned around during a walk in the resort's orchard to find Tom down on one knee, to which Ryann immediately said, "Oh! Yeah!" before he had a chance to say anything. Tom did actually ask to confirm they were on the same page and here we are!
