Things To Do

Why not make your trip into a holiday? Here are some recommendations for the south-eastern part of the island. We would also recommend visiting Paphos on the western side of island if time allows.
Pano Lefkara

Pano Lefkara

Lefkara is a beautiful, stone-built village in the hills and a special place for us, as Naomi’s mum’s family is from here. It’s famous for its handmade lace and silver, but the best way to see it is simply wandering the narrow backstreets or grabbing a coffee in the village square.

Cape Greco

Cape Greco

Ayia Napa, Famagusta 5330, Cyprus

If you fancy some fresh air and incredible views, Cavo Greco is the place to go. It’s a stunning coastal spot with crystal-clear water and dramatic cliffs.

Snorkelling at Green Bay

Snorkelling at Green Bay

Kavo Gkreko, Agia Napa, Ammochostos 5330, Cyprus

This is our favourite snorkelling spot. If you're lucky you will spot turtles and you can also swim to the the Museum of Underwater Sculptures.

Protaras Beach Day

Protaras Beach Day

Spend the day relaxing on white sand beach with crystal clear waters. Some of our favourite beaches in this part of the island are Konnos Bay, Fig Tree Bay, Nissi Beach and Makronissos.

Troodos Mountains

Troodos Mountains

Limassol, Cyprus

If you need a break from the heat, head to the mountains for cooler air and pine forests. It’s a great area for a scenic drive, with plenty of hiking trails, waterfalls, and lovely "wine villages" to explore for a long lunch or a tasting.

Makenzy Beach

Makenzy Beach

Larnaka, Cyprus

For a relaxed day by the sea in Larnaka, head to Makenzy. It’s lined with great beach bars where you can spend the afternoon on a sunbed. Our personal favourites are Lush Beach Bar Resto, Rebuke Lounge, and Nusa Beach Bar.

Larnaka Salt Lake

Larnaka Salt Lake

Larnaka, Cyprus

A great spot for a sunset walk right by the airport. As our wedding is in late October, you might be lucky enough to see the first flamingos of the season arriving as the lake begins to fill with water.

Nicosia

Nicosia

Nicosia, Nicosia, Cyprus

Cyprus' capital city, and Europe's last divided capital. Nicosia has been inhabited for over 5500 years, and holds a wealth of history in its streets, both ancient and modern. Bring your passport if you want to explore the Turkish-controlled North side.
