Tom and Morgan met while both were hard at work at Virginia Tech. One crisp spring morning, Morgan was finishing up an all-nighter at the library and saw Tom outside nursing a sickly squirrel back to health. Seeing this compassion, Morgan struck up a conversation with Tom and a relationship blossomed. Just as the squirrel's strength grew so did their relationship. Morgan graduated from school to pursue her passion of consulting. This took her to the west coast for some time and then to Charlotte, NC. After a few years of long distance, Morgan and Tom finally moved in together in Savannah. After experiencing all the southeast had to offer, the mountains began calling. In the summer of 2020, amid a global pandemic, Morgan and Tom - along with their co-pilots, Lucy and Paul - drove across the country to settle down in Denver. They continue to look forward to spending as much time as they can in the mountains and of course, tending to any wounded squirrels they come across.
