Wedding Party

Lara Price

Maid of Honor

My best gal for almost 2 decades. Lara and I met when we rode the bus together in middle school. You will usually find us in the middle of an argument, but we've only ever had one real fight. She my biggest advocate, belly-laugh provider and bull-sh*t detector - I think everyone would agree there is no one quite like my Largie, and I am thrilled to have her by my side.

Mike Michetti

Best Man

Always down for a good scotch along with a great cigar and better conversation. Having gone to lots of concerts, games, and standup shows has been nothing but a blast, and I'm excited to continue to do that. Thanks for being one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of knowing, even when I don't understand your Jersey accent. Make sure you have a drink with Mike; tonight or any night, you won't regret where this smart conversationalist takes you.

Shannon Kelley

Bridesmaid

Shanny and I became fast friends in college, and lived together long enough to almost qualify for a civil union (which I considered pursuing for her nice furnishings and ample kitchenware). She is loyal, thoughtful, obsessed with Lord of the Rings, and loves a nicely grilled steak - which are just a few of the many things I cherish about her.

Dan Lopez

Groomsman

Mi amor, mi principesa, mi vida. One of my first DePaul friends meeting him at an ice cream social for the honors program we both fought through in undergrad, starting papers due at midnight at 9pm after looking at YouTube for the previous 4 hours. It's so fun to constantly argue about whether German or Japanese supercars are best or rooting for Colombian and German Soccer Team...unless they play each other! Dan you're the man I'm so thankful you'll be up there with me!

Jessi Gutheil

Bridesmaid

My relationship with Jessi took some time to develop, but boy was it worth the wait! We have enjoyed many adventures together in Chicago, mostly revolving around what we should eat or drink next. I joke that I've grown to love Jessi MORE than Tom, which on occasion is true ;) I am so lucky to have a sister-in-law who is also my friend.

Adam Cole

Groomsman

When I met Adam we were at the Field Museum, where I quickly discovered how smart you were - beating every history game before looking at any type of exhibits. Meeting a good looking older brother of your girlfriend who's also a genius definitely was a tad nerve-racking, but we quickly became friends. A lot of long nights smoking cigars and getting beat in video games when visiting him in Taiwan locked that down for me. I do remember that one time circa 6am (when he'd usually bring out tasty local liquors) where I beat him in online golf...the question is do you, Adam?

Courtney Sawatzke

Bridesmaid

Court and I became close friends in High School, and I remember having an instant connection with her. Friends joke we are the "mother" and "grandmother" of our friend group, and we have DEFINITELY leaned into that. She is my voice of reason, personal cheerleader, secret keeper and dear, dear friend.

Kate Fiala

Groomswoman

Kate and I met day 1 of undergrad at DePaul while we were exploring urban gardens and since then haven't stopped! Dancing through likely a hundred concerts at this point has been a blast, especially when we saw Bruno a few rows in at Lollapalooza! Visits to Dayton (which included the world-renown Bill's Donuts), cigars on the roof of the DePaul parking garage, AOII dances, volleyball leagues, you name it we've done it. Thanks for being up on my side and not Molly's. Santé!

Carli Hein

Bridesmaid

Literally my oldest friend - though we didn't know it until we met in 5th grade at the flag pole, as the only attendees of the "See you at the flag pole" prayer meeting that year. After school I told my mom the only other person there was a girl named Carli, and she was like "oh yeah, you shared baby clothes with her". Carli has always done things first (ie. being born, leaving Minnesota, getting married, owning a business, starting a family), and its been a pleasure to walk by her side and seek her advice about it all. I am lucky to call her one of mine!

Garrett Van Schaick

Groomsman

Scary Gary - my man! Having had the pleasure of working with you in my first two jobs definitely was a blast. So many good learning lessons through our likemindedness, and clearing a bar of beer with our coworkers once...whoops! Even though I cannot convince you to move to the city no matter what, I know you enjoy the bourgeois life in Barrington (see Gabrial Iglesias standup). So happy to have you by my side and maybe once I also retire in the burbs we can work on my beer brewing skills again...try one was a bit of a flop!
