We would love for our guests to embrace the luxurious elegance of our day, so our dress code is formal or black-tie optional. This evening will feel more like a high-society gala than prom or garden party inspired. Ladies, we encourage tea-length or full-length dresses (no miniskirts please), and gentlemen, a button-down with slacks (or even a suit and tie if you're feeling fancy) is appropriate. We kindly ask our guests not to dress in jeans, khakis, or anything casual. We're so excited to see you all in style!
Those of you who were allocated a plus one will see a "and guest" note on your invitation. If you do not have this distinction on your invitation, please only bring yourself, and rest assured you will be seated with other guests you know.
While we adore the children of our friends and extended family members, our wedding will be an adult-only celebration with the exception of the children only in our immediate families who are specifically included by name in the invitations you receive. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can still attend!
Since the bride herself will not be of age to drink, there will not be an open bar. However, there will be a cash bar available during both cocktail hour and the reception for guests to purchase their preferred drinks.
Please arrive at the hotel at the latest by 2:30pm. This will give you extra time to mingle with other guests and find your seat before the ceremony begins promptly at 3:00pm.

We kindly ask that guests respect our request for an unplugged ceremony. We have intentionally hired professional photographers to capture every detail of our day, and would prefer not to see cell phones in those photos.
There will be valet parking at the front of the hotel, but there is no specific, designated self-parking lot. However, the hotel is located in downtown Louisville, KY, and there are multiple parking garages just around the corner. Please allocate enough time to find parking and walk to the venue before the ceremony.
