On our match.com apps, Tom first reached out to Megan by sending her an inbox message saying that she looked like a "down-to-earth girl" and that he wanted to connect. Many messages later and Megan being bold enough to send Tom her phone number through the app (only a few days into conversation), our first date happened over coffee and the rest is history!

Tom knows one of my favorite places in our new house is the back patio- especially sitting out there at night with our string lights lit and a glass of wine. Tom spent the whole day running around the house completing random home maintenance, fixing up the lawn, and cleaning up our string light set-up on the back patio. After making a simple burger dinner and running to the local Weis two different times within a 1-hour time span, Tom got down on one knee under the string lights while our favorite singer was on the stereo.
