Like many breezy couples, it was love at first sight across the blarney dance floor. Despite Maggie telling Tom to "go away" the first time they talked, Tom quickly won her over with his charms and how good he looked in a Sugar Bowl uniform. Less than a month after they met, Maggie had to go back to her Junior year at Fairfield, but by then they both realized they had met the person they wanted to be with. Tom braced I-95 traffic for 2 years traveling to see Maggie before she finally graduated and moved back home. From there, the rest is history. She moved in with Tom about a year later, and continued to grow their beautiful family, adding Duffy, a very good boy to the mix. Just over 5 years after that fated blarney night, Tom and Maggie were visiting Toms parents in Florida and took a walk on the beach. Tom told Maggie there were dolphins out in the water and while Maggie was eagerly looking for them, Tom got down on one knee. It took a minute for Maggie to notice there were in fact no dolphins to be seen, but when she finally turned back around she heard the words "will you marry me?"
