Simone is Lisanne's older sister.  Her life was going pretty great before Lisanne came along.  She adjusted to her life as a big sister and is now a close friend of Lisanne's and Tom's.

Tom met this part-time mermaid while working together at the Sutter Home tasting room.  Shortly after they became work spouses.  Now they love getting together for "Taco Tewsday" and playing games.

Amber Tews

Ari and Lisanne have known each other since before either of them can remember.  They have always loved playing dress up and doing performances for their parents' dinner parties.

Phil and Tom have been friends for a decade.  They love watching sports together and always cheer on each others teams - unless they are playing against one another.  Sunday football often includes Bloody Mary's with ALL of the toppings!

Amy and Lisanne met freshman year at UC Davis in the nerd dorms.  Amy shared her love of the Oakland A's and her intensity at playing board games.  She hates it when Lisanne beats her.

Peter is Lisanne's cousin and she is 15 whole days older and wiser than him.  He has always been a great friend and is like a brother to her.

Meredi is Tom's younger sister and they didn't get along so well as kids.  Fortunately, as Tom grew up he became less of a grump, and now they get along great - especially when sipping Bourbon and eating Mom's french bread pizza.

Betsy and Lisanne met on their bocce ball team a decade ago.  They don't play bocce so much anymore but they do talk about their cats, Charlie and Matilda. Lisanne did give Betsy her kitty, Charlie.
