Biking

Jeeps
Some beaches are only accessible via four-wheel drive. Rent a Jeep with a beach permit and enjoy driving on the dunes. And pack a picnic!
The Shark Guy
Elliot Sudan “The Shark Guy” fishes and wrangles sharks by hand to tag and release them for the National Atmospheric and Ocianic Administration. Plan to go at sunrise to watch the action! He can generally be found on Low Beach just down from the Summer House Cottages.
Shopping
Nantucket town has a modern boutique or historic shop on every corner. Definitely check out the pop-up stores on the wharf.
Dining & Drinking
Similar to shopping, you won’t run out of options in the dining category. A few of our favorites are listed below. Cru - located near the water, stop in for oysters and a beer in between shopping Juice Bar - the best ice cream on the island, but be prepared to wait in line The Tree Bar - in the center of town, sit outside in the shade of the tree that the bar was built around Galley Beach - upscale fine dining, reserve in advance to get a table on the beach (ladies wear flats!)
Boating
We suggest chartering a sailboat for a sunset cruise. Don’t forget to pack wine and cheese! There are also options to charter boats for fishing, day cruises, etc.
