We're getting married!

We met at a point where we had both given up on finding "the one." On a fateful day, one of Kiera's friends suggested that she download the dating app called "Bumble." Though she wasn't sure, she figured it couldn't hurt. She found a really cute, tall, handsome guy on there almost immediately - and even better, they matched! Unfortunately though, when she messaged him, he took 3 WEEKS to respond to her. In the meantime, Kiera had all but given up hope in the app, as most of the guys that she had met on it were not what they had advertised to her. Then, finally, out of nowhere, that tall, handsome guy responded! He had been previously occupied wakeboarding. There was chemistry instantly, even over text! They decided to go on a date, and the rest is history. She almost didn't go on a second date with Tom because he wore cargo shorts (*gasp!*), but his little 10 pound dog, Goober, won her over.

As most everyone knows, Tom is an expert trickster. On the weekend of the proposal he told Kiera that they were going on a little weekend get-away in downtown St. Paul, with a quick cruise up and down St. Croix on his aunt Rachael's yacht. He even managed to arrange for both Steve and Colleen, as well as Jeff and Lisa to be there, with Kiera still not having a clue as to what was really going on! Tom took Kiera down to the bow of the boat to "watch the other boats from a better point-of-view." While down there, he asked her to take some pictures with him, always being the perfect Insta-boyfriend, got down on one knee, and proposed to Kiera right in the middle of the St. Croix - overlooking both Hudson and Stillwater. Kiera could not believe it, and just kept asking if he was serious! He had arranged for a beautiful dinner at one of their favorite restaurants in downtown St. Paul that night, and even chocolate strawberries and champagne to be delivered to their room that evening!
