After several years of online dating, Kerri was ready to give up on Bumble...but it came through in the end! Tom and Kerri had their first date at Barcelona Wine Bar in the South End. From the moment they met they knew there was something special there, but could never have guessed what would unfold over the next 12 months! In the wildest year of their lives they went from that first raining date...where Tom quite literally fell head over heels for Kerri (ask about this next time we see you!)....to moving in together, buying a beach house, travelling the world, both getting new jobs and getting engaged! And it's just the beginning of their journey!

Tom pulled off the proposal of Kerri's wildest dreams! Tom got both families involved because it would take a team effort to pull this off. Lots of planning and white lies resulted in convincing Kerri to clean the house and get all dressed up to meet-up with Tom's parents in the Boston Common to walk them around and show off their life in the city. Kerri's mom had claimed she was going to be "in Newport" all weekend and her MOH was "in Maine" which firmly convinced Kerri that her much desired proposal wasn't coming that specific day. Once they arrived at the perfect spot in the park, Tom stopped to ask for a selfie....weird for him to be the one to ask but Kerri shrugged and said ok...not knowing that this was the secret sign for the hidden photographer to get into action. Tom then knelt down to open the champagne they were carrying ahead of his parents fake arrival. When Kerri questioned this, Tom turned and said "well I could do this instead?" and pulls out a ring box! Everything after that is a bit of a blur, Kerri immediately cried, Tom proposed, Kerri got out an unquestionable 'YES!" through the tears. The next hour was a whirlwind tour through the Common with the photographer. Stopping to drink the aforementioned champagne on a park bench, Tom suggests they go back to the apartment to call family and friends with the exciting news and prepare for the fun night ahead that he had planned. Little did she know that while she was walking with Tom to the Common, sweating in the heat of the day, both sets of parents & siblings were sneaking into their apartment to transform it ahead of a magical celebration on the rooftop later that night. The frantic party decorations were in full steam, and Courtney, who has been tracking Kerri's location for years, is yelling out warnings of the newly engaged couples arrival! More tears from Kerri as she walks up the stairs surprised by her dearest loved ones, a transformed deck, and a dream spread of cheeses and champagne! Tom organized dinner for everyone with food from Barcelona, picking out favorites from their first date! They partied the night away under the starts with very happy hearts. And in typical full speed ahead fashion, they told their parents the next day that they were planning an engagement party in 3 weeks and to get married at the library!
