40 Minutes from Greenville - this is a great option if you are looking for a longer hike. The 3.6-mile hike is rugged, offering an ascent through an open forest and on through a field of giant boulders and across several creeks. Just before the two-mile marker, stop at the wooden shelter for a great view and a nice rest before continuing past Governor’s Rock to the summit. Then spread out your snacks and enjoy the surrounding beauty.
