Jen and Tom first met, briefly in passing, at a mutual friend's birthday party. The next time they met and really hit it off was on July 4th, 2019 in our Nation's Capital. Jen had plans to meet up with that same mutual friend mentioned above, who had also invited a few other friends over for July 4th festivities. Jen thought to herself "I hope the cute blonde boy from the party comes" and, as fate would have it...the cute blonde boy did. The sparks were flying, literally and metaphorically, as they spent the evening watching fireworks and connecting over shared work stories, their favorite restaurants, and, later that night, their love for ice cold tequila. Things were off to a great start when Tom texted Jen the following day asking to see her again, and well, the rest is history. It didn't take long for both of them to realize they had met someone really special and they wanted this to last. Over the next couple years, Jen and Tom made countless memories as they traveled to new places, tried new recipes, and spent priceless quality time with each others' friends and family. These experiences allowed Jen and Tom to grow as individuals and as a couple while giving them chance fall in love with each other over and over again each day! Fast forward to 2022, and the two are living together in Washington D.C. Moving in together helped them realize what they already knew - that Tom's cooking was the way to Jen's heart, and that Tom wanted nothing more than to be Jen's husband. And so, the two decided they were ready for the next step. On a beautiful spring day in Alexandria, VA Tom popped the question... and Jen of course said YES! Now, they are SO excited to get married and celebrate with you all in November 2023!
