We met for the first time at Southern Adventist University. However, Heather doesn't remember this meeting. After college, we lived and worked in the Fresno area, where we worked together as staff for a few different summer youth programs. Tom's roommate was Heather's young adult pastor. She and others of her family came to Tom's house from time to time for Bible studies or potlucks. The sparks really started flying near the end of the summer of 2022. It had been five years since Tom and Heather had talked. That summer, they worked together as staff for Teen Bible Academy (a high school discipleship ministry in Central California). They started talking after the three weeks were over. It felt like connecting with a long-lost friend.

There is not a clear answer. When Tom was in Medford visiting his mom, Heather invited him to a hot dog roast on the beach. However, Tom initiated all of the conversations that led them as they transitioned into an "intentional friendship" and eventually "dating."
Yes, there will be parking available at both the ceremony and reception cite. However, the available parking may be dusty as the wedding will be held on a farm, so please plan your foot ware accordingly.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony starts. This will give you ample time to park and sign our guest book.
Too bad for you; she is already taken. Tom says the secret is to be kind, be bold, and pray a lot.
Please come in semi-formal attire! Our wedding will be held in an elegant country setting, so a little dust is a possibility. However, the ceremony will be held on a grassy lawn area. Examples of appropriate attire include dress shirts and dress pants, sport coat, ties optional, dresses or dressy separates. Please be mindful of foot ware, as heels may difficult on the farm. You can always match the bride and opt for cowboy boots!
Tom was pretty sure when he visited Heather in Crescent City, but it takes time to "know". Heather cannot recall an exact date or trip where she "knew", but she became more open to getting married at each step along the way as she started to develop trust and their bond continued to grow. She started to feel more and more at peace with spending the rest of her life with Tom.
