Groomsman
Sam Wright and I met in college five years ago. My first real memory of Sam Wright was respectfully declining to shake his hand, which really set us on the path to lifelong friendship. Sam and I have traveled to Puerto Rico, share a love of sports, and is like the younger brother I never had. You'll never see Sam without a smile on his face, and he never fails to be the life of the party.
Groomsman
John Lademan. The Few, The Proud, the greatest planner I have ever known. I met John in Austria and we bonded over our love of Go-Pros and cheap local beers. Since then, we have had the opportunity to travel all across Europe and many other foreign places. Ask John about his competitive record against me.
Groomsman
David Gantz was my first friend in the world. David and I met when we were five and seven respectively, and have been inseparable since then. We were basketball teammates, fishing partners, and have countless great times together. David has never tried something that he hasn't mastered. Ask him about our rap album.
Groomsman
Aaron Webb and I have been friends since he allowed me to join his clique back in middle school. We played football and basketball together all throughout high school, but also every other sport we could find. We started as competitors, and became friends after we fought during a football practice.
Groomsman
Kevin and I became friends/enemies in college and have been roommates for three years. You'll never meet a more loyal and joyful guy. Kevin and I bonded over our love of camping, bonfires, and pretty much share every interest. We both love competition, but for the sake of our friendship we cannot play on separate teams.
Groomsman
Patrick Tansill is the funniest person I have ever met. Patrick is considered by my family as one of our own and you'll never see a person rally a room like Pat can. He makes every person feel like you've been friends for years. Patrick and I were together through every trip we took in Europe, and were inseparable throughout college. Where I was, Pat would be not far behind.
Best Man
Francisco Issac and I became friends when we were sophomores in high school when his family moved back from Bahrain. Throughout my time in high school, college, and since then we have gone on countless adventures. Whatever I was into, Fran was into. Francisco has been my partner in crime and has become friends with all of my friends.
Groomsman
Andrew and I have been friends all throughout college. We bonded over our love for throwing formals, Haus music, and were roommates during our last year in school. Andrew is always down for anything, and will always be the first to say yes to a plan. You'll never know a networking summit until its thrown by Andrew.
Groomsman
I first met Wesley over Christmas break in 2022, and we quickly bonded over our shared taste in music. I have had a great time getting to know my future brother in law. My favorite memory so far has been when Wesley, Spencer and I went on a boys trip to Siesta Key.
Groomsman
Spencer and I have been friends since 2021 and are members of the same household at Franciscan University. I had the great joy of getting to know him as he was joining, and have had some amazing experiences together. Spencer is a great listener and has a real passion to serve those around him. I am excited to continue to grow our friendship in the coming years.
Groomsman
Grant and I met during Christmas in Sarasota in 2021. He was very kind and thoughtful and got me a Christmas gift which was a book on authentic masculinity. Grant is intelligent and hardworking, and I am so eager to finally read that book.
Bridesmaid
Tom took Kathleen and me out to a Mexican restaurant to meet, and by the end of the meal, it felt like we had taken him out. We instantly hit it off, realizing we were long lost friends (this made it much easier to immerse myself into Tom's family of 12). Kathleen is witty, kind, a great homemaker, and the best teacher in the DC area. She also does a great rendition of Dolly Parton's 9-to-5 that she'll be performing at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
My first experience of Margaret was watching her enter a house of people all older than her, and without missing a beat, placing herself right in the center of it all. Margaret is always a good time, and knows how to tell a joke (laughing at herself in the process). She has one of the biggest hearts, caring so much about others, and I am so excited for her to become my sister.
Bridesmaid
Nance and I became default friends when she was assigned random roommates freshman year of college with my best friend (Ginny Noce). This seemingly forced friendship quickly flourished, though, and soon Nance and I became inseparable. If you need a morale boost, talk to Nancy. Her talents include: making others feel funny, appreciated, heard, and compiling great Spotify playlists.
Bridesmaid
Therese is one of my best friends from college, my roommate, and most recently, my co-worker. For those lucky enough to know her well know that Therese is not only a caring and prayerful woman, but also subtly hilarious, a great dancer, and always looking to add a little zest to the day-to-day. A common at-home activity consists of me watching Therese make dinner and then interviewing her on her effortless cooking techniques (taking notes for Tom and my next phase of life).
Bridesmaid
I met Ginny freshman year of high school when she sat next to me in religion class to tell me about the boy she liked. Fast forward 11 years and she is STILL telling me about a boy she likes (different boy - now it's her husband). It has been crazy to watch our lives change as we've grown up together, and I am beyond thankful to have had such a loyal and driven friend by my side. I would not be the person I am today without her.
Bridesmaid
Elaine is the kind of person that always shows up when something fun is happening... or maybe fun things always happen because Elaine is there. She and I met in college, and as the years go on, I'm really thinking it's the latter of the two. She is company that must be kept around. Elaine is funny, loyal, makes a mean Cosmopolitan, and is one of my dearest friends.
Bridesmaid
If you're looking to do donuts in the parking lot at some point during the reception, let me introduce you to Kathryn Rohter. This girl has a need for speed that carries over into all aspects of her life, living at 100mph so there's never a dull moment. Kathryn and I actually first bonded over wholesome conversations while driving fast in her car (naturally). She is a real Texas gem, an incredible artist, and will be offering two-step lessons to all guests.
Bridesmaid
Hannah and my friendship really took off when she invited me on a three week long camping trip the summer after college graduation (quite a way to get to know someone). Since then, we have taken three more camping trips, a trip to France, and a trip to Ecuador. At this point, I'd say we're pretty close. Hannah is one of the sweetest girls you will meet. She has an excitement for life that is so contagious, and if you're looking to move to Hawaii, you should hit her up because she's willing to quit her job right now.
Bridesmaid
If anyone is going to end up as a celebrity/politician/public figure, it's Annie Scanlon. She is the most people-person person, was voted "best dressed" on numerous occasions, and really has a face made for the camera ;) Annie is one of my dear friends from college, and is just a joy to be around. She has a great sense of humor and a genuine curiosity about others. Probably a good idea to just get her autograph sooner rather than later.
Bridesmaid
Kierra and I met in either a church or a library in approx 3rd grade, but either way, she gets the award for longest friendship. And this is very lucky for me because she is one of the best people I know. One word to describe Kierra would be "radiant" - I have witnessed her interact with different groups of people and there is something about her joy and peace that makes others gravitate towards her. See for yourself!
Bridesmaid
Along with my wonderful parents, Abby really helped raise me. We met in 5th grade after the tragic death of her pet guinea pig and somehow recovered and became fast friends. She has tutored me, given me driver's ed, taught me how to sew, how to pump gas, how to read directions. She has also taught me what it means to be a hardworking, virtuous woman of God, and I am a so thankful for her constant friendship. If you have any medical questions, feel free to refer to her.
Matron of Honor
There is too much to say here, but Alley is the best older sister God could have graced me with. She is well-traveled, well-read, wise, holy, and very, very cool. She is also a mom of four and a great one, at that. I really don't know how she does what she does. She is who I want to be like when I grow up.
