Caroline and Tom met in December 2021, 3 months after Tom moved to the District of Columbia. Their first date was at Dacha Beer Garden in DC's Navy Yard, where they discovered their common love for Vermont and Nantucket, and Caroline shared that she was about to adopt her dog, Zimmer. Tom shamelessly brought his most esteemed pit bull, Chance, to the date, who screened Caroline as a potential suitor for his dad. Chance eventually decided Caroline was quite the catch and climbed into her lap. Suffice it to say, Chance was right.
The ceremony and reception will be formal attire (but not black tie). Because the temperature may drop at night, please plan to bring warmer layers. The welcome party will be cocktail attire. We hope this helps!
We appreciate your understanding, as we've decided to host an adults-only celebration. Your support means a lot to us and hope you'll join us in celebrating this special day.
