We met on graduation night at East Carolina University through mutual friends and kick started our professional careers with a new partner by side. Thomas moved to Tennessee and Caitlin remained in Raleigh for the next two years while they continued a long-distance relationship.

We returned to where it all began at ECU to visit the cupola in the center of campus. It's bad luck to walk under the cupola while still in school, and neither of us had ever walked under it after graduation. During our first time under the cupola, Thomas decided to make it official and put a ring on it!
