A mutual friend introduced me to Arienne in 2011. Our friendship grew and was cemented when my mom and I came to Arienne’s rescue by visiting her in hospital, bearing gifts to keep her busy. This began the era of weekends at our farm in Wellington and holidays spent in Saldanha. During one school holiday spent with Arienne, I had locked myself in her grandparents bathroom, causing her grandfather to climb though a small window and remove the door from the frame. Over the years our friendship grew into something more – family. Even though distance has separated us for the last four years, our special bond has remained. I am proud to say that Arienne is the sister I never had. I am proud to be part of her special day and look forward to standing by her side as her maid of honour.

Hi there! My name is Jiven, and I am Tom’s best man for the wedding and best friend. I first met Tom in first year at UCT on the bus to Campus. Out of all the people I’ve met Tom is one of the most genuine and real. He is always willing to help and go the extra mile for his friends and the people he meets. I’ve known Arienne for about 2 years now and she is just as wonderful, kind and sincere and I couldn’t think of anyone more perfect for my best friend. I am really glad to be a part of this wedding and I couldn’t be happier that my two friends have found the person they wish to spend the rest of their lives with.

I'm Zietske, better know as Zee, and I am one of the bridesmaids. One of the besties I've had the honour of getting to know and build the most incredible friendship with over the last 4 years is Ari and man, am I looking forward to the next 60! Having met while studying together, our bond was solidified with consuming exceptionally large amounts of tea (literally). There is no doubt we'll be having a new tea buddy very soon (Tom).

Hi, my name is Tim Möller. I am one of Tom's groomsman and I'll be your MC for the evening. I am also the brother of the groom and truly am honored to be a part of the lives of this beautiful couple. Tom and Arienne are truly happy together, and having known Tom for the span of both of our lives, I can't say I've seen him happier than with his bride to be. As a big brother and not having know Arienne as long as my brother, I was wary of her at first, but her charm, charisma and bubbling positivity has brought out the best of Tom and she has earned her spot as one of the family. I've always had a great friend in my brother, and I can see why my friend has chosen his partner. I'm looking forward to having another wonderful sister in the family.

Hey, I am Di-Andi, a friend of Arienne's since high school. I am privileged enough to form part of the wedding party as a bridesmaid. I met Arienne in Grade 10 when I transferred to La Rochelle. During our matric year, we became friends by 'laat studie' and a love for tea. One of my favorite memories was on her 19th birthday when we had a girls night. Driving home, we had to drive around the block three times to end our karaoke Eye of the Tiger. I met Tom at one of my and Arienne's adventures at the Barnyard. I can remember the way they looked at each other and I want to thank Tom for the happiness he brings to one of my best friends. Arienne and Tom: may you both rise straight to the top, may your relationship reach all its glory and may you go the distance and never stop.

Hi, My name is Dillon Gradidge. I am one of Tom's groomsman, and a very close friend of both Arienne and Tom. I have known Arienne for over 6 years and have considered her one of my closest friends ever since. When Tom came along and we both instantly started to get along like we had known each other for years. These two have been perfect for each other from day one as they both supplement each others crazy perfectly. I honestly cannot see Arienne being with anyone else. I am glad to be part of this special day and to be a part of both of their lives.

Hi, my name is Megan Möller. I am Tom's younger sister, and a bridesmaid. I'm Tom's little sister by blood and Arienne's by soul. I am also honoured to be front and center at their biggest mile stone together so far. I've known Tom my whole life and we have always been close. He is kind, generous and diligent, but also the most stubborn person I've ever met. Although I met Arienne a mere two years ago, I feel like I've known her my entire life. She has made a huge mark on my heart and I am incredibly proud to call her my sister. She is the most free and wild spirit but remains grounded, even helping me to strengthen my own roots. I love the both of them very dearly and as they take their next huge step in their life together, I wish them nothing but love, happiness and adventure.

Hello my name is Tainienne du Plessis. I am one of Tom's groomsmen. I am the brother of the beautiful bride. I am honoured to share in this special moment with the bride and groom to celebrate the beautiful connection and love that they display. I always told my parents that I wanted a brother, but they said no, so I had to wait 21 years to get that wish. I have never seen anyone make my sister happier than Tom does. Tom is a man of honour and dedication, I have personally witnessed this with every little thing he does for Arienne and I can truly say that they belong together, and I know he will do anything for her. I am ecstatic to welcome Tom to the family as my brother.
