Travel Note

Transportation to/from Wedding

While Uber/Lyft are in the area, it can sometimes be hard to find drivers. We recommend Brenda with Shuttles by the Sea and "Text a Taxi." They have been notified of the event and are able to take guests to/from the venue. Just text them to schedule a drop-off and pick-up time! These are also great options to/from the airports. We decided to not do Room Blocks since there were a number of wonderful areas/places to stay near the venue. Here are just a few within a 10 minute drive. 30-A Inn & Suites is an affordable, cute hotel near the incredible town of Seaside.

Local Vacation Rental Agencies

Santa Rosa Beach has dozens of local rental agencies that will allow you to bypass the VRBO and Airbnb "extra fees." If you are looking to stay for at least three days, try looking at the following agencies for some great rates. We suggest staying between Grayton Beach and Seaside to keep you near the venue. VRBO and AirBnB Suggestions

Near Point Washington Preserve, there are a few lovely beach towns that you may desire to stay, instead of a hotel. If you're looking to book on your own, we suggest searching for a place along the 30A highway where you'll find numerous beach towns with upscale rentals. When looking at a map, we suggest staying between Grayton Beach and Seaside, as they are approximately 10 miles from the reception venue. Search and rent at your leisure!

We decided to not do Room Blocks since there were a number of wonderful areas/places to stay near the venue. Here are just a few within a 10 minute drive. If you are looking for a more upscale hotel and resort, WaterColor Inn & Resort is a great option near all of the best golf courses and restaurants.

Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa

We decided to not do Room Blocks since there were a number of wonderful areas/places to stay near the venue. Here are just a few within a 10 minute drive. This is a great option if you want to feel like you are in "Vacation Mode" the entire time. If you are looking for the "Vacation Vibes" of not leaving your hotel besides the wedding, but want something more affordable, look at our Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Option.
