FAQs

The Wedding Website of Adrienne Busch and Tom Melun
If you have any questions (like if you have a plus-one that we missed), please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Question

Where is the registry?

Answer

We kindly request nothing more than your company on our wedding day. We’re excited to celebrate and share our love with you!

Question

What COVID health and safety measures will we be taking during the event?

Answer

At this time, we'd like to ask that all guests have a negative test (at-home or PCR) prior to our events. Please be mindful of how you feel prior to attending these events. If you're sick, please do not come.

Question

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The wedding and reception are both taking place at the Historic Hangar at Fort Vancouver which is directly behind the Pearson Air Museum. Both buildings have yellow and black checkered roofs, and our event will be in the smaller of the two. See the map link under the "Events" tab.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. Being the first weekend of September, it will likely still be quite warm. The venue is indoor with a hard-surfaced outdoor area surrounded by grass. Also, just wear whatever you are most comfortable in!

Question

What weather should we expect?

Answer

Of course, we can't guarantee anything, but we typically get beautiful weather in September, and often pretty warm early in the month. Keep an eye on the weather under the "Eat/Drink/Play" tab.

Question

Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue?

Answer

We are not providing any formal transportation for the events, though our ceremony and reception are taking place at the same venue with ample parking that is all free.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

If the weather cooperates, we’ll have the ceremony just outside the hangar, overlooking the Fort, and the reception inside the hangar. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll have both the ceremony and the reception in the hangar. The venue is an indoor facility with large hanger doors at one end that will remain open to the outdoor area that we will be using. There is an adjacent large grassy area that we have available to use for lawn games and for kiddos to run around. Keep an eye on the weather and plan accordingly. :)

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please get us your RSVP by July 1st.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We LOVE your kids and you’re welcome to bring them! We plan to have a little kids corner with a few things to keep them busy. Please RSVP accordingly.

Question

What type of food and drink will be served?

Answer

We will be serving food from The Nicholas restaurant in Portland which is some of the most amazing Lebanese & Mediterranean food. There will be salad, rice, meats, veggies, dips, pita, pizzas and more. Everything will hopefully cater to all dietary restrictions. Copy & paste the link below to see their website for more info: https://www.nicholasrestaurant.com/ As for drinks, we will have water, of course, and be serving wine and beer as well as a few select cocktails. We'll include some juices for the little ones.

Question

I have dietary restrictions, what’s the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day. Please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The venue is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The restrooms are also accessible.
