The lift starts running for our guests around 4:00pm. It's a 12 minute ride to the top, so please make sure you get to Windham Mountain by 4:30pm in order to catch a ride. You're welcome to ride up early and take in the beautiful views.
Um, yeah - it's a long walk to the top. Of course, we understand if you have a fear of heights, or an aversion to being outdoors in nature, or a fear of bringing the baby up the side of a mountain on a 3 million dollar ski lift. If you need to skip the mountain and join us at 6pm for cocktail hour, we understand 100%. Our goal is not to traumatize anybody! While the lift will be running slowly in order to help people get on and off flawlessly, if you feel as though you may not be able to join us up top, please feel free to have a drink in the lodge or arrive a little later to join us for cocktail hour.
MOST IMPORTANT RULE FOR THIS WEDDING - BE COMFORTABLE! We just want you there, and we want you to wear whatever makes you look in the mirror and think, "Damn, this looks cute on me!" Attire should be casual - it's an outdoor wedding ceremony in July! Ladies - you'll be walking through grass and rocks, so flats or wedges are encouraged. You can totally bring a pair of stilettos for later if you'd like. Since no one's wearing a white dress at this wedding, that one's up for grabs - go crazy. Honestly - we want everyone to feel comfortable. You can dress as snazzy as you want - we just want you to have a good time!
You're not the only one who's wondering about the weather. Rain would suck - however - it would suck more if we didn't have a backup plan. Rest assured - we have a backup plan. The Lift Operations Director at Windham makes the final call about whether the ceremony will be at the summit, or re-located indoors. When you RSVP, please include your email address so that we can inform you of any changes to the schedule.
If you're staying in town, we've arranged for Windham shuttles to run to and from certain local area hotels (including the Winwood Inn).
There's a space in your RSVP to indicate any dietary preferences. We will do our very best to make sure that everyone has lots to eat! Be sure you let us know this by May 1.

We do! But you won't find any gravy boats on there. We've set up a HoneyFund for our guests who might prefer to do things online. Check out the registry tab above.
