Tom had been working at Charter Communications for a year when Abbie was hired to work on the same team. As luck would have it, she was sat at the station next to him. As time went by, they became close co-workers and friends until Tom worked up the courage to tell Abbie the feelings he developed for her. Fortunately she felt the same and they've been together ever since!

In the midst of the lock-down, Tom realized he never wanted to go another long period of time apart from Abbie ever again. The weekend before Abbie started teaching the new school year, Tom planned a romantic night out where he took her for a walk around Hudson Gardens before dropping down on one knee.
