Why, “Out of the Darkness There Came a Great Light”

Our wedding date comes on Winter Solstice weekend - also in between Hanukkah and Christmas. All three celebrate the hope and gratitude in knowing that after the darkness will come the light, as day after night. For us, the darkness of losing very dearly beloved spouses has evolved into the light of new friendship, new companionship, new love.
