We met in Houston, TX as PTA/PT students at the same clinic. We never really spoke to each other until the last week we were together. All we knew about the other person was that they liked going to the gym, eating good food and watching one piece. Our relationship grew doing long distance, leading to Hop moving to the Bay Area in 2021.

Originally, Hop was going to propose during their Japan 2023 trip, but Hop surprised Melinda and got down on one knee at the Huntington Library at the Japanese garden 3 months earlier than expected. Melinda was caught off guard and all she said was "wow!". They both don't remember much from the moment but when the video is replayed, all you hear is Melinda's mom clapping for joy. Fun Fact 1: Ken and David were present at the proposal whom at different years also celebrated our anniversaries together. Fun Fact 2: Vanessa, Melinda's mom and dad were all also present during the proposal.

Melinda's twin - Vanessa. Vanessa has been with us throughout most of our relationship since Hop moved in with our family. Vanessa hold a very special part in both our hearts and never fails to make us laugh. She has always supported us including this wedding, this wedding has many ideas from her.
