It is recommended to book this travel itinerary as a package bundle ( FLIGHT & HOTEL ). The Bride and Groom will be using Travel agent website "Expedia" to book a roundtrip package bundle as their choice of travel agency. Note that fairs and packages are subjected to change in price according to time purchase and departure airports as well as length of stay. Please Note: You can use other travel agencies to book your hotel stay. However, be sure you are booking at Barcelo Bavaro Palace or Beach (Palace is highly recommended) as this is where we will all meet to board the boat for the ceremony. More specific details to follow for ceremony day. It is An ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT: This means that In your Hotel package , food, drinks ( alcoholic or non alcoholic ) are included during your stay. added to your stay package are also amenities such as non motorized sports ( paddle boats, kayaks, games, entertainment and more ) AT EXTRA COST: Excursions such as Horse back riding, island hopping, Parasailing, Scuba diving & more are at extra cost and should be booked while in the Dominican republic through tour guides. Please refer to Event planner for further questions. The Resort has 3 sections, an adults only side, a junior suite side and a family side, it is recommended to book the junior suites in the family side as they have ocean views in the middle of the resort accessible to all parts of the compound . Once booked at the resort junior suites you can enjoy access to all restaurants, entertainment and pools.

IMPORTANT : Please notify Bride before you "RSVP" if you are planning to bring a plus one by December 1st, 2023. It is required to book your travel itinerary by No later than December 31st, 2023. Flight

Airport

Your flight and hotel bundle should land in the nearest airpot ( Punta Cana International Airport, PUJ). This airport is located 10 minutes away from the designated Resort , Barcelo Bavaro Palace. there are other airport in the country but Punta Cana International Airpot is the closest and most affordable airport to land. This airport is in proximity to every major road, Resort and facilities.It is also best to purchase a shuttle service prior to arrival and inform family and loved ones once you arrive and depart for safety.The Dominican Republic is a safe country but do practice the same level or caution as in the states.

Documents Needed

Please note that you will need a valid US Passport to enter the Dominican Republic. You may also need a health QR code prior to the departure and arrival ( this is subjected to change). We will update you with any further changes or requirements.You may also be required to take a covid antigens test to enter the United States regardless of vaccination status ( No covid vaccine required as of current international laws ) a Covid-19 antigen test if needed by the time of Travel is offered onsite at the resort. Additional Recommend Services: -Trip protection insurance in case of emergencies, such as luggage delay , flight cancelation, delay or interruption. This services are very affordable and sometimes offered through your travel agent of choice, credit card carrier or simply by purchasing it online through a travel insurance company. -International Health insurance : Highly recommended , you can purchase it from "Geo Blue" as an example for less than $50 , these plans can offer up to $1,000,000 in medical coverage in case you get sick, need immediate medical attention, medical evacuation or transport. Sometimes accidents and sickness happen and you do not want to be left paying a hefty medical bill oversees.

Shuttle

Airport Shuttle service and transportation

Please note that you will be responsible for scheduling your airport to hotel roundtrip transportation. A shuttle service is recommend prior to arriving to the airport. The wedding party is going to use roundtrip shuttle service from Expedia.com ( https://shuttlecentral.com). This company provides timely transportation to and from the Airport-resorts, average price per person / roundtrip is about 20 USD " subjected to availability "
