Rosamond Gifford Zoo
The Syracuse Zoo is so much fun, even for adults! There is lots to see and a small cafe with light bites off the main lobby. This is a smaller zoo so it's not too much walking but still so much to see and do for the kiddos.
Syracuse Mets Baseball Game
The Syracuse Mets are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets. Although we're both diehard Yankee fans, we do enjoy catching the games here at NBT Bank Stadium in the summer time. "Dollar Thursdays" are one of our favorite date nights when they have dollar beers and ballpark hot dogs!
Green Lakes State Park
Green Lake State Park is a fun place to spend some time and very scenic with crystal clear blue water! Over 10 miles of flat, well-maintained and shaded walking trails along the lakes, a beach to swim at, picnic areas, and kayak rentals. We've taken Mosby here for many walks! There is a $10 vehicle entrance fee to enter the park.
iSmash Syracuse
Blow off some steam at iSmash! Fun for all ages. Activities available include: Axe Throwing (ages 13+) - so fun for groups Splatter Paint Sessions (ages 3+) Smash Sessions (ages 8+) - prepare to be sore the next day
Syracuse Pedal Tours
Rent a pedal bike and tour downtown Syracuse! BYOB or food and different packages available. You may rent a pedal bike with a group of 6-13 people. Prices vary based on the day of the week. Check it out!
Dinosaur Bar-B-Que
Dinosaur BBQ is one of Morgan & TJ's favorite go-to restaurants. TJ always gets a rack of ribs and Morgan loves their brisket and pulled pork! This place can get busy fast and they do not take reservations, so if you're looking to eat here, the earlier the better is the way to go.
Big MaMa's Cheesecakes
If you're looking for dessert, Big Mama's Cheesecake has the best! Always fresh, homemade, and they have a ton of flavors. A little whole in the wall owned by the nicest people.
Francescas Pizza
Looking for the best pizza in town? Francesca's is it! This is the perfect lunch spot offering fresh thin crust pizza's and other light bite Italian food.
Coleman's Authentic Irish Pub
Coleman's is a fun, lively Irish bar in the heart of the Tipperary Hill neighborhood, one of our favs. Coleman's has great Guinness, and even better food! Morgan and TJ love their shepherd's pie and bangers and mash! This is both a sit down restaurant with entrees and a bar with light pub food.
Pastabilities
Looking for a fancy Italian meal? Pastabilities has great food and delicious wine! We love their chicken riggies the most! Pastabilities does have a long waitlist most nights so plan ahead if wanting to go!
Oh My Darling
Oh My Darling is a popular lunch place around town offering great cocktails and good American food. They have really good burgers! Serves vegetarian dishes as well. What's unique about Oh My Darling? There's a speakeasy in the basement with live music! A super fun late night spot!
The Retreat
The Retreat is a popular restaurant in Liverpool near Morgan and TJ. Close to Onondaga Park and many little shops in the village. This is the perfect sit down place to enjoy a relaxing meal or a drink with friends! They have indoor and outdoor seating and in the summertime they often have live music on the weekends. Good food for the whole family!
Julie's Diner
If you know us, you know we love a good brunch on the weekend's. We've tried many brunch places around town and Julie's is one of the best! Nothing fancy, but great food and quick service! TJ loves their meat lovers frittata and Morgan loves their Belgian waffles!

If you're looking for a fun, eclectic brunch place, Modern Malt should be your stop! Fun food, including both breakfast and lunch options, and delicious drinks!
The Hops Spot
The Hops Spot is a sit down restaurant with a bar and game room in the back! The Game Room (21+) is open Thursday through Sunday and offer darts, bocce ball, corn hole, Texas horseshoes, arcade games, and stand-up comedy, live music, bar trivia, etc.. A fun late night spot!
Destiny USA
The Destiny Mall has a variety of things to do. From shopping, to food, to entertainment for all ages. Here is a list of just a few below. Check out their website for a complete list! All in Adventures - this place has a bunch of challenging escape rooms. Fun for the whole family! Apex Entertainment - great for older kids and adults. This place has an arcade, axe throwing, bowling, and so much more. Billy Beez - a popular indoor play area for younger kids. WonderWorks - another fun place for kids! This has a ropes course, laser tag, hands on exhibits, and much more. Johnny Rockets - Our favorite place to eat at the mall. This is a quick burger and fries joint with great milkshakes!

Whitewater Rafting (WATERTOWN)
Feeling adventurous? We recommend a whitewater rafting trip down the Black River! Guided by the Adirondack River Outfitters, you'll have so much fun with this! We've been a few times and it's the best! Ages 14+ in June.
